I spent weeks just trying to find out how to get a study plan together after going through this book quickly several times. For the EC-6 exam I used another author and easily learned the content and how to study for the exam. Finally, after using the 154 book, I tossed it aside and decided I was going to take the exam without any studying because I learned nothing from this book and passed on the first time! And, the mistakes were so outrageous, I wanted to mark the book and send it to the publisher because they should be ashamed of themselves for selling this book for over $60.00. There is another author coming out with a 154 study book in October so I'd look into buying that one instead.
This was so much better for me when I was studying!!! I would so recommend it to anyone getting ready to take the test!
I found the book helpful in explaining the competencies, but when I took the test, very little material covered in the book was on the test. The test had mainly situational questions.
Great book! I passed the test the first time. Excellent information by reading the text. Test questions not a good example of what is on the test. Overall I could not have passed without it.
The description said Ithe book was used, well It does not appear to be used at all !
